Executive Board Member of the Year
This award is given to an Executive Board member who distinguished himself/herself through outstanding service during the year.
Chapter of the Year
This award recognizes the exceptional efforts of local chapters in membership growth and retention, legislative participation, PAC contributions, continuing education, and charitable involvement. Chapter of the Year Nomination form.
Member of the Year
This award is given to a CAHU member who has provided CAHU with extraordinary service. Member of the Year Nomination form.
Outstanding Local Chapter Newsletter
This award is given to a large and small local chapter for publication of high-quality, interesting, informative, and timely newsletters. Outstanding Local Chapter Newsletter form.
Outstanding Local Chapter Website
To be considered for this award, the chapter should email their interest in being considered. Deadline:As posted above.
Winners will be selected based on how well the chapter promotes CAHU on their web site. The main page of the chapter web site should promote CAHU events and legislative activities.
Awards will be presented to one large local chapter and one small chapter.
Outstanding Chapter Membership Growth
This award recognizes the chapter with the greatest overall percentage of membership growth and the highest retention rate.
Outstanding Membership Recruiter: The Robert K. Shepler Membership Award
This award is given to the individual who recruited the most new members during the year. In honor of longtime CAHU member Robert K. Shepler.
William T. Robinson/M. Lloyd Baum Spirit of Freedom and Legislative Excellence
This award is given to a member of the California Association of Health Underwriters who exemplifies the tireless effort in being a consumer activist on behalf of their clients, fellow insurance brokers and the California Association of Health Underwriters.
