After Class is Presented:

Within 5 to 10 DAYS

  • Typed Provider Roster, Course Attendance Record and original speaker packet MUST be received by the CAHU office.
  • The DOI is strict about these deadlines. Any documents received late may not be issued credit. Documents that are filled out improperly will not be processed and will be returned by the DOI for proper completion which can also cause the filing to be submitted too late to receive credit. Complete instructions are sent with the packet. However, if there are additional questions on how complete the documents visit the CE Quick Reference tab in this section or contact ceinfo@cahu.org for assistance.

CE Crediting

Students can expect to receive credit on courses taken within 30 days after the completed rosters have been received by CAHU CE Administration.  This time frame can be delayed if the rosters contain incomplete or inaccurate information or requires further investigation.

All C.E. students should keep a copy of all Certificates of Completion for every course attended.  In addition, it is strongly encouraged that students keep an updated record of the classes they have attended.  These details are what will be requested by DOI (and CAHU CE Administration) if researching verification of attendance. In addition to the Certificate of Completion, it is recommended such list should detail:

  • Course Number
  • Course Title
  • Date Presented
  • Address where Presented

Students will have to periodically check the CDI website to determine when credit for courses taken is posted.
